ParrotPadMD is medical dictation and an AI scribe in one Chrome extension. It works in any web-based EHR (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH and more) on Mac, Windows and Chromebook, with no integration and no IT ticket. DICTATION - Press Alt/Opt+A in any text field and talk. Your words appear at the cursor. - A medical speech model handles medications, diagnoses, procedures and specialty terms. Pick your specialty for extra vocabulary. - English, Spanish (US, Mexico and Spain), Portuguese, French and German. Medical Mode in English, Spanish, French and German. - Voice commands in your language for punctuation and formatting. Macros expand "normal cardiac exam" into the full paragraph. - One-tap AI cleanup fixes recognition slips without changing clinical meaning. SCRIBE - Record the visit (with the patient's consent). Speakers are labeled Clinician and Patient and the language is detected automatically. - One tap turns the transcript into a note in the template you chose.
