Overview
Never miss an activation you still need. Live POTA, WWFF, LLOTA, PARC and IOTA spots, needed-reference flags and one-click logging.
Never miss a park you still need. ParkWatch watches the live spot feeds for Parks on the Air (POTA), World Wide Flora & Fauna (WWFF), Lakes & Lagoons (LLOTA) and Islands on the Air (IOTA), and tells you the moment a reference you haven't worked is spotted. It reads your own POTA hunter awards, so every spot is measured against your log — not a generic list. New park? New state? New DXCC entity? ParkWatch already knows, and says so before you tune. WHY HUNTERS INSTALL IT If you chase parks, you know the problem: dozens of spots scroll past, most of them references you have already worked, and the one you actually need is buried three screens down and gone by the time you find it. ParkWatch does that sorting for you, in real time, so your limited operating time goes to the contacts that move you toward your next award. WHAT IT DOES Find what you need • NEW PARK, NEW STATE, NEW DXCC, ATNO and RARE REFERENCE flags, driven by your own hunter awards • Filter by band, mode and program, or show only what you still need • Rows tint green, amber and red by age, so you work the stations still on frequency • Distance and bearing from your gridsquare, short path and long path • A map of active parks and stations • Follow specific activators, and see the hunters who chase you Log the contact • One-click logging to QRZ Logbook, Wavelog/Cloudlog, Club Log, and any logger that accepts ADIF over UDP • WSJT-X and JTDX contacts captured automatically • Full activator log with ADIF export — n-fer parks each get their own record, and park-to-park contacts are highlighted • Callsign lookups as you type: name, QTH, grid, beam heading and your previous contacts with that call Spot and be seen • Post your own spots to each program's network, several at once • Read and post DX cluster spots, including island and watched-callsign activity • A dual reference (a site that counts for two programs) is spotted to both and counted once Your own awards, across every program • ParkWatch Awards track parks, islands and lakes together, with tiers from 10 up to 20,000 • Your totals are seeded from your existing hunting history, then grow as you log • Because there is more to ham radio than POTA Run the station • Alerts that fit how you operate: desktop notifications, sound, email, or your phone • Optional rig control — QSY straight to a spot with TCI, FLRig, Hamlib or OmniRig • Automatic backups, and a one-click restore if a fresh install ever finds your data missing PRIVACY ParkWatch has no servers and no accounts. Your callsign, gridsquare, logged contacts and awards progress stay in your own browser, on your own machine. There is no telemetry, no tracking and no advertising. You sign in to pota.app the way you already do — never to us. Free and open source under the MIT licence. GOOD TO KNOW Most features work with the extension alone. A small optional helper app, downloaded separately from parkwatch.online, is needed only for rig control, digital-mode logging over UDP, sending alerts through your own mail server, and reading a telnet DX cluster. Some programs publish no public "worked" data, so ParkWatch tracks those from the contacts you log. ParkWatch is an independent amateur radio project, not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the programs, logbooks or services it works with. All names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Built by a park hunter, for park hunters. 73 — VE9CF
