Works but i checked the block access to extensions settings and now cant uninstall other extensions either. How can i get around that?

Hello, In the extension settings, please cancel the blocking of the extensions page.

never got the option for a password, after download.

You probably clicked the "Cancel Password" button in the lower right corner of the main settings page of the extension.
