Parcourse

Send the YouTube video you are watching to your Parcourse instance and start a course from it.

Parcourse turns a YouTube video into a course you can actually work through: structured sections, questions that test your thinking, and a knowledge map that grows with everything you learn. This extension serves as a companion to your self-hosted or an eventual hosted Parcourse instance. When you are watching something worth keeping, a dot appears on the toolbar icon. Click it, and the video opens in your Parcourse with the course already building in a new tab. You don't need to copy a URL. Where your data goes Nowhere except the instance you name. Parcourse is self-hosted software: you run it on your laptop or your own server, and this extension only points at it. The extension holds no password, no key and no token of its own. It does not talk to any backend or API. What it does on YouTube Nothing is injected into the page and the page itself is never read. The extension looks at the address of the tab, and only a YouTube tab, to find the video id. That is the whole of its access. Setup Paste the address you open Parcourse at.
