Parcel 17
Overview
A compact parcel sorting shift where routing records gradually stop obeying ordinary space and time.
Parcel 17 is a compact sorting-shift game built around a five-bin routing desk. Read the label, inspect weight and tracking records, use the X-ray instrument when it becomes available, and route each parcel to Local, Express, Hold, Return, or Special according to the current desk rules. The first shifts behave like an ordinary procedural job simulator. Later, the depot database begins accepting addresses that did not exist, load-cell behavior can disagree with printed weight, tracking events may occur before receipt, and the internal volume of a parcel can exceed the building that contains it. The rule card changes as the depot learns how to handle these exceptions, so the player must distinguish normal mistakes from new routing conditions. All parcels, labels, tracking records, scanner results, anomalies, and routing decisions are generated locally by the game. Parcel 17 does not connect to postal systems, scan real packages, access browsing history, use remote services, or collect analytics. Progress is retained locally with localStorage.
