Pararoller
Overview
Keyboard-driven paragraph-by-paragraph scrolling with visual marker for the current paragraph.
Pararoller lets you read web articles without losing your place on the screen. Instead of clumsy mouse-wheel scrolling or jarring page-down jumps, you can move through an article paragraph by paragraph using your keyboard. The extension softly highlights your current paragraph and aligns it to your natural eye line, so you never have to hunt for where you left off. It is designed to ignore the clutter automatically—skipping past sidebars, floating toolbars, and ad rails so you only cycle through actual story text. If there are sites where you prefer normal scrolling, you can blacklist them or specific URLs directly from the toolbar icon. Keys: J - Next paragraph K - Previous paragraph Completely private, with no analytics, tracking, or network requests.
