YOU DECIDE HOW MUCH CHANGES A slider runs from Minimal to Maximum — nudge a sentence, or hand the whole paragraph over. Ask for three versions and pick the one that sounds like you. Click any word for alternatives and swap it. Or freeze a word — a product name, a client, a piece of jargon — and it will survive every rewrite untouched. Undo is always one click, and it restores your text exactly. Working with a longer draft? Rewrite the whole text box at once, up to 12,000 characters. Your last 50 rewrites stay on your device, in case you want one back. WORKS IN THE BOX YOU'RE TYPING IN Any normal text box on any site — a comment field, a message, a post, a form, a rich-text editor. Including the ones tucked inside embedded frames, which is where a lot of editors live. We've tested it hands-on in X, LinkedIn and ChatGPT. One honest exception: Google Docs. It paints your document onto a canvas instead of using a text box, so there's nothing for an extension to read. No extension can help you there, and we'd rather say so than let you find out. A token is about four characters, counted on the way out and the way back. ABOUT YOUR API KEY It stays on this device. It is never synced to your Google account and never sent to our servers. It goes to the AI provider you chose, when you ask for a rewrite, and nowhere else. If you use Cloud instead, your text goes to our server and on to the model, and we keep your account and a running daily total. That's it. No trackers, no analytics, nothing sold to anyone. Esc closes. The first three are yours to change in Settings. Alt+K rather than Cmd+K on purpose — Cmd+K is "insert link" in half the editors you use, and taking it from you would be rude.
