Parallel Downloader
Overview
Download files in parallel without external installations.
Parallel Downloader is a high-speed, zero-install download manager that accelerates your browser downloads using multi-connection technology. By splitting files into multiple chunks and downloading them simultaneously, it maximizes your available bandwidth to retrieve files up to 8x faster. Key Features: Parallel Stream Acceleration: Dynamically splits range-compatible files into up to 8 concurrent download connections for maximum speed. Smart Native Interception: Automatically detects and intercepts standard browser downloads, checking server range support before accelerating. Local File Management: Seamlessly locate downloaded files ("Open in Folder") or delete them from your local disk directly from the interface. Robust Connection Recovery: Pause, resume, and restart downloads. Automatically falls back to standard browser downloads if server compatibility changes or range requests are not supported. Completion Notifications: Play a sound alert (Chime, Success, Bubble, etc.) when your downloads complete. Secure Sandboxed Architecture: Uses modern Manifest V3 standards, sandboxed Offscreen documents, and Origin Private File System (OPFS) storage to ensure your files remain secure during download.
