Your existing login sessions are preserved — sign in to each service once and they stay logged in across sessions. No new accounts, no API keys, no subscriptions required. Works entirely with your existing ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude accounts. KNOWN LIMITATIONS Claude panel — previous chat list: Because of how Claude's website behaves inside an embedded frame, the sidebar that normally lists your previous conversations is not shown inside the Claude panel. Your conversations are still saved to your Claude account as usual — to browse past chats, open claude.ai/chats in a regular tab. A small in-app notice points this out the first time you open the Claude panel. PRIVACY Parallel Chat does not send user data to the developer’s own servers. The extension stores only limited local data in the user’s browser, such as UI preferences, panel layout, language/theme settings, and session references needed to restore previously opened chats. When the user chooses to send a prompt, message content and any attached files are transmitted directly to the selected third-party AI services inside their respective panels, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, in order to provide the extension’s core functionality. These transmissions are governed by each provider’s own terms and privacy policies. Parallel Chat does not sell user data, does not use user data for advertising, and does not transfer user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the requested functionality through the user-selected AI services.
