Paperpile Extension

The extension is like... the BEST PART!!!!

Really happy with Paperpile, and would definitely recommend it for for academics who want a convenient way to read and review papers for their reference library. Have been trying to find a tight and focused reference software application for awhile. In particular trying to find something with decent read/write/markup for annotation and note taking, plus citation manager. Endnote is horrible, Citavia bloated and too expensive. Just the best citation manager - from someone who as tried them all

Paperpile is great - convenient and easy to use. I love that it can automatically change the reference style with zero effort and it can find the paper I want to cite by title DOI, link, whatever I throw at it. It's a very user friendly tool, can be integrated into both GoogleDocs and Word and prevents me from messing up my references. Best citation manager out there.

I was so upset that I hadn't found Paperpile sooner! It has simplified finding and adding references with PDFs as well as writing papers. I started using this software last year and I am surprised by how many students and academics don't know about it. It has made being my nerdy self so much easier. I agree with the previous users saying they "trick" you into paying for a year long subscription when it's advertised as a "$2.99 cost per month". It's a shame I already started a lot of work with my citations during the free trial. I would recommend any other citation sorter over Paperpile.

works great, but they tempt you in with a 30 day free trial, and what they don't tell you is if you use that up and want to keep writing your paper you have to pay for a whole year's subscription! I feel tricked :-(
