Overview

Clip articles, selections, full pages, bookmarks and screenshots into Papernook, on the desktop app or in the cloud.

Save what you read to Papernook, in one click. Papernook Web Clipper sends articles, selections, whole pages, bookmarks, screenshots and YouTube videos into your Papernook notes. It works with the Papernook desktop app on your Mac or Windows PC, and with your Papernook cloud account when the app is closed. Capture types Article: the main content of the page, cleaned to plain headings, paragraphs, lists, quotes, images and tables. Ads, menus and scripts are left behind. Selection: the text you highlighted, or pick any element on the page with the picker. Bookmark: title, link and excerpt. Full page: everything on the page, cleaned the same way. Screenshot: the visible area, saved as an image in the note. Video: on YouTube, a card with the thumbnail, channel and the moment you were watching. Where clips go If the Papernook desktop app is open, the clip goes straight into it and stays on your machine. If it is closed and you are signed in, the clip goes to your Papernook account and syncs to your other devices. If neither is available, the clip waits in the extension and is delivered when the app opens or you sign in. Choose a folder and add tags before you clip. Right-click any page for the quick "Clip selection" and "Bookmark this page" items. Privacy The extension reads a page only when you click to clip it. It has no access to other pages and keeps no browsing history. Clips go to your own Papernook app or account and nowhere else.
