Chrome Extension that automatically renames academic PDF downloads from DOI-based filenames to their actual paper titles. - Before: 3789239.3793282.pdf - After: Emerging Standards for Machine-to-Machine Video Coding.pdf Supported Sites - ACM Digital Library - IEEE Xplore - arXiv Usage 1. Visit a paper page on ACM, IEEE Xplore, or arXiv — the extension automatically caches the paper title 2. Download the PDF as usual (click the PDF link, right-click → Save, etc.) 3. The file is saved with the paper title instead of the DOI-based filename 4. Click the extension icon in the toolbar to see rename history and count NOTE: - Fetches paper titles by parsing HTML from the source page — no remote code execution - All data (title cache and download history) is stored locally on your device - No data collection or external transmission of any kind
