panodex – Smart, Secure and Fast Clipboard Manager

Panodex automatically records everything you copy into a searchable right-side sidebar.

▶ Automatic Clipboard Capture Panodex immediately saves everything you copy—plain text, hyperlinks, code snippets, or images—into a local database. When you press Ctrl+C (or otherwise copy content), Panodex detects the event and creates a new clipboard entry with its type and a timestamp. Each new entry appears under the “Recent” heading as soon as it’s recorded. ▶ Persistent Right-Side Drawer Open Panodex with Ctrl + Shift + V (or click the toolbar icon) to slide in a clean, responsive sidebar on the right edge of your browser. The drawer resizes smoothly when you drag its left edge, and all elements adjust fluidly to different widths. Instead of a popup window, Panodex always appears as a sidebar for instant access without disrupting your workflow. ▶ Recent & Pinned Tabs All saved clips display under the Recent heading, listed by their “just now,” “1 minute ago,” etc., timestamps. To keep an important entry handy, click the pin icon on any clip card. Pinned entries move into the Pinned tab and remain there until you unpin them—ideal for storing frequently reused items such as API keys, notes, or important URLs. ▶ Search & Type-Based Filters At the top of the drawer, a search bar lets you filter by any keyword in the clip’s content, tags, or custom titles. Simply start typing to instantly narrow the list. Below the search field, four filter buttons let you toggle visibility by type: Text, Link, Code, or Image. Click any filter button (it highlights when active) to display only that category. Clicking again deactivates the filter. ▶ Custom Titles & Notes Every clip can have an optional custom title or note. Click the edit-title icon on a clip card to open a small input field where you can type a memorable label (for example, “GitHub API Key” or “Research Snippet”). If a clip has a title, it displays above its truncated content, making it easy to find later. ▶ Visual Clipboard Previews Image clips display a small thumbnail preview directly in the drawer. Link clips show a link icon and the URL text in a distinct style. Code snippets are formatted to show up to three lines of preview. Plain text entries appear with a consistent font and color for readability. ▶ Settings Panel Panodex includes a simple settings screen you can open from the drawer’s gear icon. Adjust how many clips to retain (Storage Limit), choose how many lines of text appear in each preview (Preview Lines), and review keyboard shortcuts: • Ctrl + Shift + V – Open or close the side panel • Ctrl + C – Copy and capture content • Ctrl + F – Focus the search bar ▶ Branding & Attribution At the top-left of the drawer header, the full Panodex logo appears (replacing any plain “Panodex” text). At the bottom of the drawer, you’ll see “by Saljug Mahmudlu,” which links to the developer’s profile on X for feedback or support. Copy any text, link, code snippet, or image—Panodex automatically captures it. Press Ctrl + Shift + V (or click the Panodex icon) to open the sidebar. Browse under Recent to see your latest captures, or click Pinned for favorites. Use the search box or filter buttons to narrow results by keyword or type. Click the clipboard icon on any clip to copy it back to your system clipboard.
