PanNote — AI Lecture Notes
Overview
Detects Panopto lectures and generates structured AI notes in a side panel.
PanNote turns a recorded Panopto lecture into structured study notes. Open a lecture, click Generate, and PanNote reads the recording's own captions and writes notes you can revise from: a summary for each section, key concepts with definitions, worked examples, typeset equations, and openly licensed figures with their sources attached. Every section links back to the moment it was said, so checking a claim against the lecture takes one click instead of scrubbing a timeline. - Sections split where the topic changes, not on a fixed clock - Export as PDF, HTML or Markdown - Organise lectures into folders per course - Notes are stored in your browser, not on a server - Free while in beta, with a weekly limit. Bring your own OpenAI API key for unlimited use, in which case generation runs entirely in your browser. Notes are AI-generated and can be wrong. The timestamp links exist so you can verify them against the lecture. Not affiliated with Panopto, OpenAI, Google, or any university.
