Bushy, growing in clumps. Leaves are long, narrow, dark green, growing from the base and have a characteristic aroma. The plant usually has no obvious flowers or fruits under normal growing conditions. Uses: Panda leaves are widely used in Asian cuisine, especially to create a natural aroma for sticky rice, sweet soup, cakes, soft drinks, etc. Can be used to create a natural green color in cooking. In folk medicine, pandan leaves are also boiled in water to drink to help cool the body and reduce stress.
