Collect web pages and links into Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) with full control over what gets sent. Preview every link, filter out duplicates and login walls, and send open tabs or YouTube links in a single click—no accounts, no subscriptions, and 100% private. 📌 What it does • One-click capture: Instantly send the active page into your selected notebook. • Batch tab collection: Collect all open tabs or pasted URL lists in one go. • YouTube link picker: Detect and import video links directly from a YouTube page. • PDF links: Open a PDF (an arXiv paper, a journal PDF) and add it like any page — it is sent as a link, and Gemini Notebook fetches the file itself. PDFs that need a login, or sit on an intranet or your own disk, cannot be sent this way. • AI chat transcripts: On a ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini conversation page, the extension saves the transcript as text, keeping the You / assistant turns — the notebook cannot open a conversation link that only you are signed in to. • Selected text: Highlight a passage, right-click, and send just that passage as a text source — line breaks are kept. • Google account picker: Signed in to more than one Google account? Choose in Settings which one receives your sources. • Context menu integration: Right-click any page or link to send or review. • Side panel workflow: Keep the side panel open and collect sources seamlessly while browsing. • Fast & Deep research: Trigger Gemini Notebook's research directly from the extension, then review discovered sources before importing. 🔍 Review before send Batch collecting often catches unwanted duplicates, login screens, or dead links. The extension lets you preview the list first: • Automatically flags duplicates, login walls, and unsupported links. • Choose per item: send as a URL, page text, or both. • Keep, edit, or remove any row before sending. ✅ After sending The extension verifies which items actually arrived in your notebook. Failed items stay in the list with specific error reasons, and a "Retry failed only" button lets you resend them without starting over. 🚫 What it does not do • No external account: No sign-up, no third-party servers. Data moves directly between your browser and Gemini Notebook. • No payment / No subscription: Every feature is completely free. • No external AI API: No API keys required, and nothing is shared with third parties. • No data collection: Zero telemetry, zero tracking. • No hidden text uploads: Page text is only sent when explicitly chosen or as a transparent fallback when a URL is rejected. • No blanket site permissions: It never requests access to all websites. 🔒 Permissions & Privacy Installation requests no website access at all. The extension reads only the tab you actively trigger it on. Access to Gemini Notebook, your Google account, and your open tab list is requested in a single prompt the first time you use a feature that needs it, and declining it leaves the rest of the extension working. ⚠️ Compatibility & API Notice This extension integrates directly with the web interface of Gemini Notebook. If Google updates the service interface, features may temporarily break. If this occurs, the extension will clearly display the failure reasons, and you can easily resend pending items once updated. ⚡ Quick start 1. Sign in to Gemini Notebook in your browser. 2. Click the extension icon on any page or PDF, then select or create a notebook. 3. Click "Add current tab", or use "Add open tabs" to batch collect. 4. Review the preview list and confirm. 5.
