Pallet Calculator & Estimator – Boxes per Layer, Ti × Hi
Overview
Calculate how many boxes fit on a pallet: boxes per layer, layers, total boxes, weight and a top-view layout. Works offline.
Pallet Calculator is a Chrome extension that calculates how many boxes fit on a pallet — boxes per layer, number of layers (Ti × Hi), total boxes, load weight and height — for warehouse, shipping and e-commerce teams. HOW TO USE 1. Click the Pallet Calculator icon in the toolbar. 2. Enter the box length, width and height (and weight, if you want a weight check). 3. Pick a pallet (48 × 40 in, 1200 × 800 mm, 1200 × 1000 mm or a custom size) and the max height. The result and a top-view layout of one layer appear instantly. FEATURES • Boxes per layer (Ti), number of layers (Hi) and total boxes • Checks both box orientations and keeps the better one • Top-view drawing of one layer • Optional weight limit: caps the total and shows how many would fit by height alone • Load height including the pallet, pallet area used in % • Inches/pounds or centimeters/kilograms • Remembers your last calculation • "Open in tab" for a full-screen view next to your order sheet • Works offline — no account, no upload FREE VS PRO • Free: everything above. • PRO ($9, one-time payment): – Mixed pattern: turns part of the layer 90° when that fits more boxes, and draws it – Saved box sizes – Printable load sheet (save as PDF) and CSV export – Pallets on the floor of a 20 ft, 40 ft or 40 ft high-cube container (typical inner sizes) PRIVACY All calculations run in your browser. Sizes, weights and saved boxes stay on your device. The only network request is the PRO license check: when you enter a license key, it is sent to Gumroad (the store that sells PRO) to confirm the purchase. No analytics, no ads. FAQ Q: How do I calculate how many boxes fit on a pallet? A: Boxes per layer × number of layers. Pallet Calculator divides the pallet length and width by the box size (in both orientations), rounds down, and divides the allowed height by the box height. Q: What does Ti × Hi mean? A: Ti is the number of boxes in one layer (tier), Hi is how many layers high they are stacked. Ti × Hi is the total on the pallet. Q: Does the max height include the pallet? A: Yes. Enter the pallet height separately; it is subtracted before layers are counted. Q: Is it free? A: Yes, the calculator is free. PRO is an optional one-time purchase. Q: Does it upload my data? A: No. Everything is calculated in your browser. Only a PRO license key is checked with Gumroad.
