Sets up Interactive Brokers Flex reporting for DashFolio: creates Flex Queries, activates the Flex Web Service, syncs the token.

DashFolio Automator is the companion extension for DashFolio.ai, a portfolio tracking dashboard. It handles the Interactive Brokers side of DashFolio and makes the Flex Query setup fast and error-free. 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗧 DashFolio reads your Interactive Brokers activity through the broker's official Flex Web Service. Setting that up by hand is tedious: - Create two Flex Queries - Tick the right report sections (trades, dividends, cash movements, interest, fees) across several portal pages - Activate the Flex Web Service - Copy the token and query IDs into DashFolio without mixing them up 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦 1. Open the Interactive Brokers Client Portal and log in as usual. 2. Confirm what the extension is allowed to do. 3. Click one button. The extension creates the queries, selects the sections, activates the service and syncs the resulting token and query IDs to your DashFolio account. Once setup is complete, DashFolio stays in sync with your brokerage account on its own. Your trades, dividends, cash movements and fees flow into your dashboard with no CSV exports and no manual updates. You only need the extension again to add another brokerage account or when your Flex token expires. 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗬 & 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 - It never sees your Interactive Brokers username or password. You log in yourself; the extension then works inside that session with the same access your browser already has, nothing more. - It never reads your positions, balances or trade history. - It only runs on Interactive Brokers portal pages. - Nothing leaves your browser except the Flex token and query IDs, sent to your own DashFolio account when you run the setup or the sync. - The Flex token is never written to disk. It is kept in memory until DashFolio confirms receipt, then deleted from the extension. 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 - This extension is free and contains no purchases. - It requires a DashFolio account. DashFolio is a paid subscription service with a free trial, no credit card required. - You also need an Interactive Brokers account. DashFolio Automator is an independent tool made by DashFolio.
