Add clickable internal links to PDF references without creating every go-to-page link by hand. PDF Reference Linker is a Chrome extension for turning repeated cross-references—such as “Appendix B,” “Exhibit A,” or “Section 4”—into reviewed internal PDF links. Map each label to a destination page once, find every matching reference, deselect false positives, then download a separate linked PDF. Open one PDF from your computer. 2. Import a CSV with label,target_page columns, import internal bookmark titles, or enter mappings manually. 3. Find literal whole-word labels in selectable PDF text. 4. Review each source match and destination page, then deselect anything you do not want linked. 5. Download a CSV match report or export a separate PDF with internal page links. FREE PREVIEW Opening the PDF, creating mappings, scanning, reviewing every match and downloading the CSV report are free. Exporting the linked PDF requires Pro: €49 once including tax for version 1, with no subscription, no license expiry and up to three active browser installations. Each PDF export requires an online license check. Payments and license delivery are handled by Dodo Payments. LOCAL PDF PROCESSING Your PDF content, filename, mappings, match previews and report are processed on your device. The extension does not upload your document and does not read websites you visit. It has no analytics or AI service. License activation and validation send licensing data to Dodo Payments. SUPPORTED SCOPE • One selectable-text PDF up to 50 MiB and 500 pages • Up to 500 reference labels and 10,000 matches • Literal whole-word matching with optional case sensitivity • References contained on one visual text line • Existing link areas are skipped and reported • Physical PDF page positions start at 1 The original PDF is never overwritten. Export creates a new linked copy so you can inspect the result before sharing it. LIMITATIONS Scanned or image-only PDFs need OCR in another tool first. Encrypted, digitally signed and XFA PDFs are unsupported. Complex layouts can require manual review. Dense files or large label sets can reach documented browser resource limits before the file, page or match ceilings. An over-budget scan stops instead of exporting incomplete results. PDF Reference Linker does not infer destinations, create external web links, edit existing links, certify accessibility or guarantee filing compliance.
