Overview

Share HTML pages as links, and turn Markdown from AI assistants into polished, readable HTML—right in Chrome.

PageWell is a direct publishing bridge for two common outputs of modern AI workflows: ready-made HTML and raw Markdown. 1. SHARE HTML DIRECTLY Open an HTTP, HTTPS, or local HTML page and choose “Share as link.” PageWell captures the current DOM—including content already rendered by the page—and turns it into a shareable PageWell URL. Linked assets are inlined when possible, so reports, prototypes, dashboards, and other HTML output can be shared without setting up a separate deployment. Return to the same source page and choose “Update link with this page” to replace the content behind the existing URL. Anyone who already has the link can then open the latest version without receiving a new one. 2. TURN MARKDOWN INTO READABLE HTML AI assistants often produce reports, research, specifications, and drafts as Markdown. Open a .md or .markdown file and PageWell turns the raw text into polished, responsive HTML directly in Chrome. Local files can render after file access is enabled, and web-hosted Markdown can render on demand. Switch between rendered and source views, copy the original Markdown, and share the rendered document as a PageWell link. PageWell uses the same renderer in Chrome and after publication, so the shared result matches the preview. USE IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT, OR SIGN IN Anonymous sharing requires no account. Anonymous snapshots are limited to 1 MiB, remove active content such as scripts and form submission, and expire 24 hours after their most recent update. Sign in through PageWell’s device approval flow to save pages to Documents, upload up to 5 MiB, and keep them until you delete them. PRIVACY BY EXPLICIT ACTION PageWell captures and uploads the current page only when you choose Share or Update. It does not continuously capture tabs. The source URL is stored locally only to recognize the same page for later updates. The resulting share link is written to the clipboard; clipboard contents are never read. PageWell sign-in tokens and anonymous update tokens are stored in chrome.storage.local and are never synced through Chrome. Some browser-only technologies, including canvas pixels, closed Shadow DOM, constructed stylesheets, and assets that cannot be fetched, may not be fully represented in an HTML snapshot. PageWell reports known limitations after sharing.
