Check one website page before you publish or share it. PageTidy is a private website quality checker for designers, no-code makers, solo founders, and small-business owners. It reviews one page at a time and explains common launch-readiness, usability, and page-setup issues in plain English—without an account or AI API. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a normal website page in Chrome. 2. Choose Chrome's puzzle-shaped Extensions button, then select PageTidy. 3. Click “Check this page.” 4. Review the prioritized findings. Select a finding to locate its first example on the page, or copy the plain-English summary for a teammate. You can pin PageTidy from the Extensions menu for next time. On first install, an optional 30-second practice page lets you see three sample findings before checking your own work. The welcome and practice pages can also open the website address you enter, without storing or sending it. WHAT IT HELPS YOU REVIEW • Page setup: missing titles, search descriptions, favicons, language settings, preferred addresses, and sharing images • Structure: missing, repeated, or skipped headings • Images and forms: missing or unhelpful descriptions and labels • Actions: nameless buttons, vague links, placeholders, private development addresses, and insecure destinations • Mobile comfort: very small text, hard-to-tap controls, cut-off content, and sideways scrolling • Signup trust: optional marketing choices that start checked PRIVATE BY DEFAULT PageTidy has no account, analytics, trackers, AI API, or server. A check starts only when you click the button. The page and results remain in your browser. The extension shows up to 40 distinct findings and groups repeated issues into one result so the list stays useful. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO This is an automated first pass on the page currently open in Chrome. It does not replace completing the real visitor flow, testing with real people, security testing, or a professional accessibility audit.
