Your saves stay on your device. Every current feature is free, with no account or license key. Pick up where you left off See a project's saved pages, notes, and unfinished work together. Review its links or open the next page without reopening everything. Add a reminder or mark a page done when the work is finished. Close tabs with less worry Save a tab or window. Review tabs by website, window, or duplicate URL. Selected tabs close only after saving succeeds and you confirm; duplicate cleanup keeps an original tab open. Find the page and the reason Search titles, URLs, notes, projects, and tags. Search from Chrome's address bar with the ps keyword, or see related saves with a short reason for each match. Turn badges and suggestions off in Settings. Keep control of your data - Export and restore a local JSON backup. Backup reminders can be turned off or paused for 7 days. - Preview a OneTab .txt export, skip duplicate links, and confirm before importing. Existing saves are kept. - Undo the latest deletion or import within 24 hours. Undoing an import keeps records you edited afterward. - Export a project's links and notes as a readable HTML file. HTML exports are not restorable JSON backups. - Optional Bookmark Assist copies new Chrome bookmarks only after you enable bookmark access. Private by default Saved links, notes, import files, and previews stay on your device unless you export them yourself. No cloud sync, AI service, full browsing-history access, or page-body reading. Undo data expires after 24 hours and is cleared when PageStow next opens after expiry. Chrome Web Store calls saved URLs and tab titles "Web history." PageStow uses these fields for its local features; it does not request the browser history permission or read your full Chrome history. Backup status records when a JSON download was requested, not whether your computer saved the file successfully. Check your downloaded backup. Your local saves are not a cloud backup. Restoring a session reopens saved URLs, not page contents, login sessions, scroll position, or unsaved form text. Export a private JSON backup before removing the extension or changing profiles. Readable HTML project files are not restorable JSON backups, and undo is not a full change history. PageStow runs in desktop Chrome, not Chrome on phones.
