PageSnap is a practical browser capture tool for creating screenshots and screen recordings directly from Chrome. Capture an entire scrolling page, the visible area, or a specific section. After capturing, use PageSnap’s built-in editor to highlight important details, hide sensitive information, add notes, and prepare the result for sharing. Capture webpages your way PageSnap supports: Full-page scrolling captures Visible-area captures Selected-area captures Long webpages exported as one continuous image Pages with internal scrolling areas Improved handling of sticky and fixed page elements PageSnap automatically processes and stitches full-page captures while restoring the webpage after the capture is complete. Built-in annotation editor Open a screenshot directly in PageSnap and add visual feedback without switching to another application. Available tools include: Text Arrows Lines Rectangles Ellipses and circles Freehand drawing Highlighting Blur Pixelation Crop Annotations can be moved, resized, duplicated, recoloured, or removed. Multiple annotations can also be selected together using a selection area or Ctrl/Cmd-click and then moved, resized, or deleted as a group. Editable text Text remains editable after it has been added. Select an existing text annotation and choose Edit text, or open it directly with the Text tool. While editing: Enter applies the text Shift + Enter creates a new line Escape cancels editing Blur and pixelate sensitive information Blur and Pixelate are shown directly inside the editor, allowing you to preview the actual effect before exporting. The effect can still be selected, repositioned, and resized after it has been applied. Advanced crop controls Crop areas remain adjustable before export. You can: Resize from sides or corners Move the crop area View exact pixel dimensions Use rule-of-thirds guides Choose common aspect ratios Copy or download the crop directly Available ratios include Free, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, and 9:16. Screen recording with voice-over PageSnap also includes a local screen recorder. Choose a browser tab, window, or entire screen using Chrome's screen-sharing interface. Recording options include: Microphone voice-over Shared tab or system audio when available Microphone and shared audio together Pause and resume Microphone mute controls Recording timer Countdown 720p, 1080p, or original-quality recording Preview before downloading Recordings are saved locally as WebM files. Export in the format you need Finished screenshots can be exported as: PNG JPEG WebP PDF You can choose the output format directly from the PageSnap editor. Privacy-focused by design PageSnap processes screenshots and recordings locally in your browser. Captured webpage content, screenshots, microphone recordings, and screen recordings are not uploaded to PageSnap or developer-controlled servers. No PageSnap account is required. Your captures remain under your control. Capture → Annotate → Export.
