Pageroll takes full-page screenshots of any website: long articles, receipts, documentation, dashboards and web apps. It scrolls and stitches the page into one image, lets you mark it up and hide private details, and saves it as PNG, JPEG or PDF. Everything happens on your device: no account, no uploads, no tracking. CAPTURE • Full page: Pageroll scrolls the page for you and stitches it into one tall image. • Visible area: exactly what you see in the window. • Selected area: drag a rectangle, adjust it, then press Enter. • Optional 3, 5 or 10 second delay, for menus and hover effects. • Clean results: sticky headers appear once instead of repeating, lazy-loaded images are loaded first, pages that scroll inside a panel are handled, and output stays sharp on high-resolution displays. • The page is put back exactly as it was. Progress shows on the toolbar icon; press Esc to cancel. EDIT • Crop, rectangle, ellipse, arrow, line, pen, highlighter, text and numbered step markers. • Redact with a solid box or pixelation. Redaction is permanent in every exported file. • Colours, stroke widths, select, move and delete, undo and redo, zoom, and a keyboard shortcut for every tool. SAVE AND SHARE • Download as PNG, JPEG (adjustable quality) or PDF (fit to image, A4 or Letter). • Copy the image to the clipboard and paste it into a chat, an email or a document. • Optional "Save as…" dialog, file name templates such as {title} - {date} {time}, and subfolders inside Downloads. • Very long pages are captured up to 50,000 px of page height; exports too large for one file are split into numbered parts. • Free, with no watermark and no sign-up. LIBRARY • Every capture is kept in a local library with a thumbnail, the page title and address, the date and the size. • Search, filter and sort; reopen a capture and keep editing its annotations. • Download, copy or delete captures, or delete them all. Automatic clean-up keeps the latest 100 by default, and you can change that. WORKS THE WAY YOU DO • Toolbar menu, right-click menu and keyboard shortcuts. • After a capture: open the editor, download automatically, or copy to the clipboard. • Optional instant mode: clicking the icon captures the full page right away. • Light and dark theme, and 16 interface languages. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Pageroll processes pages only inside your browser and makes no network requests. No account, no analytics, no ads, no remote code. • Your captures, together with the title, address and date of each captured page, are stored only on this device. PERMISSIONS IN PLAIN WORDS • activeTab: access to the current tab, only after you click the Pageroll icon or a menu item, or press a shortcut. • scripting: runs Pageroll's own bundled script on that tab to scroll it and load its images, then restores the page. • storage and unlimitedStorage: keep your settings and your library on this device, so Chrome doesn't delete large captures. • downloads: saves the files you export. Chrome lists it as "Manage your downloads". • contextMenus: adds Pageroll to the right-click menu. GOOD TO KNOW Chrome doesn't let extensions scroll or run scripts on its own pages (such as chrome:// pages), on the Chrome Web Store or in its PDF viewer, so on those pages Pageroll captures the visible area only. To capture files opened from your computer, turn on "Allow access to file URLs" for Pageroll on the extension's details page. KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS • Alt+Shift+K: open the Pageroll menu • Alt+Shift+1: capture the full page • Alt+Shift+2: capture the visible area • Alt+Shift+3: select an area • "Capture visible area after a delay" has no default key; you can assign one. Change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. In the editor, press ? to see every editor shortcut.
