PageReader reads web pages aloud using high-quality neural text-to-speech powered by Piper, running entirely in your browser. No cloud services, no subscriptions — all speech synthesis happens locally. Features: - Right-click any page and select "Read from here" to read aloud from your cursor position - Select text first to read from that point to the end of the page - 140+ voices across 35 languages available to install - Default English voice (Joe) installs automatically on first use - Also registers as a browser TTS engine — any app that uses speech synthesis can use PageReader voices - Completely private: page text never leaves your browser
