Overview

Send proxy requests throught page context.

PageProxy is a browser-backed proxy helper for developers. It lets existing HTTP clients, such as Axios with HttpProxyAgent, route requests through a real browser page. The request is executed by the page that already has the needed session context, cookies, and browser-side state. PageProxy is designed for focused proxy workflows, not browser automation. It does not control the page through CDP, scrape tabs, or automate user actions. It only receives explicit proxy requests from your configured PageProxy service and sends them through the matching browser page. Key features: - Use normal HttpProxyAgent-based client code - Route requests to a selected browser page host - Keep browser session context for APIs that require login state - Stream request and response bodies - Optional shared browser client mode - Optional request header enrichment when enabled by the user PageProxy stores only local extension settings such as client id, connection state, shared access setting, and script policy. Proxy requests are handled only when the user connects the extension to their configured PageProxy service.
