Overview

Privately watch any open webpage and get a desktop ping when the part you care about changes. No server, no cloud, no accounts.

PagePing watches the webpages you already have open and pings you the moment the part you care about changes — a price, a "back in stock", a new appointment slot, a keyword, even a visual change. Pick the exact spot on the page, choose a rule, and walk away. 🔒 100% PRIVATE BY DESIGN No server. No AI. No accounts. No cloud sync. No analytics. Everything stays in your browser using local storage only — your data never leaves your device. 🎯 POINT-AND-WATCH • Click "Select Area to Watch" and pick any element — price, status, button. • Or watch the whole page in one tap. • A reliable selector is generated automatically, with fallbacks if the site changes its layout. Re-pick anytime. 🔔 SMART ALERT RULES • Price drops / rises / below or above a target / changes by a % • Any number changes (followers, seats left, ETA…) • Back in stock / sold out / availability changes • A keyword appears or disappears • A button becomes enabled or visible • Text matches a custom pattern (regex) • The area simply looks different (visual change) • Combine two rules with AND / OR, and watch several elements at once. ⚙️ YOU'RE IN CONTROL • Check every 30s up to once a day — or a custom interval. • Run for 15 min to 24 hours, custom, or until you stop it. • Smart backoff slows checks on quiet pages and speeds up on change. • "Double-check before alerting" kills false pings from page flicker. • Quiet hours, snooze, per-watcher cooldown, notify-once or every change. 📊 SEE WHAT CHANGED • Desktop notification with Open / Snooze buttons (+ optional sound & badge). • Inbox feed of every past ping — with a snapshot thumbnail of what changed. • Price/number history with a sparkline, min / max / average. • Command palette (⌘K / Ctrl+K) to jump anywhere fast. 🧰 POWER TOOLS • Quick-start templates: flight price, tickets, product stock, appointment slots, competitor price. • Noise filters ignore whitespace, timestamps, countdowns, cookie banners & ads. • Export watchers (JSON) and history (CSV); import a backup. • Optional LOCAL webhook (localhost-only, off by default) for Home Assistant, ntfy, or your own scripts. • Auto-reopen a watched tab if it closes; graceful handling of login walls and CAPTCHAs (it pauses out of respect — it never tries to bypass them). Works on Chrome and Edge (Chromium / Manifest V3), Windows and macOS. PagePing is for the things you'd otherwise refresh by hand: concert tickets, flight fares, restock pages, visa/DMV slots, competitor prices, doc updates. Set it once. Get pinged. Move on.
