It adds a floating launcher button and a native Chrome side panel that lets you summarize, explain, rewrite, translate, extract data from, and chat with the content of any web page — using your own AI API keys. BRING YOUR OWN KEY (BYOK) — PRIVACY FIRST PageMind never includes hardcoded API keys and never sends your data to our servers. You enter your own OpenAI or DeepSeek API key in the settings page; your keys and conversation history are stored locally in your browser. Page content and your prompts go directly to your chosen AI provider — no middleman, no telemetry, no tracking. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension. 2. Open settings and paste your OpenAI or DeepSeek API key. 3. Click the floating PageMind button on any page, or right-click selected text, or use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+S to summarize, Ctrl+Shift+E to explain). 4. The Chrome side panel opens with your AI assistant ready.
