An AI sidebar that reads the page you're on. Open it next to any article, doc or forum thread, summarize the whole page, or clip one section and ask about only that part. The page stays visible the whole time. FREE, WITH NO DAILY MESSAGE COUNT Point PageGrok at a model you already have and it costs nothing — no message cap, no account, no subscription, no credit card. It connects to a model server running on your own machine, such as Ollama or LM Studio, and to any OpenAI-compatible endpoint once you paste in your own API key. PageGrok scans your machine on startup and connects to the local server that is already running. When you use a hosted endpoint, that provider bills you directly and we never touch the money. This path is free today and stays free. Every feature in the sidebar works on it, with no limit on how much you use it. NOTHING TO SET UP ON DAY ONE No local model yet? Built-in AI answers straight away — no download, no API key, no account. The first three answers are free. It runs on a hosted lightweight model, so nothing loads onto your machine and nothing has to warm up. A local model often takes ten seconds or more on the first question of a session. If you keep using it, a pass is $5 for 500 answers over 30 days, shared across 3 computers. Pay by card or one-time payment, and cancel any time. If the pass turns out not to suit you, ask within 7 days with 20 answers or fewer used and we refund it in full. PRIVACY When the model runs on your own machine, or you connect with your own API key, page content and your questions go straight from your browser to that model. No PageGrok server is involved, and not one byte passes through us. With built-in AI, page content and your question go to the PageGrok server and its upstream provider so the answer can be generated. The server records model name, token count, latency and cost.
