Overview
Track website changes, price drops, stock, and new listings. Select page content and set up PageFluxer cloud alerts.
Catch the next change without keeping the page open. PageFluxer helps you turn a public webpage into a cloud monitor. Open the extension on the page you care about, select the content that matters, and choose when you want an alert. Finish setup on PageFluxer with a cloud preview and your preferred schedule. WHAT YOU CAN WATCH • Page content: alert when text changes, starts containing a phrase, or stops containing a phrase. • Prices: alert on changes, decreases, or a crossing below a chosen amount. • Availability: watch a stock label for a change to available or unavailable. • Linked listings: watch for new linked items, optionally matching a phrase. SELECT RIGHT ON THE PAGE Click “Select on page,” hover over an element, and click to choose it. Use Alt + Up to move to its parent container, or Escape to cancel. Configure up to three targets in a draft, then review them on PageFluxer. MONITORING HAPPENS IN THE CLOUD Scheduled checks run on PageFluxer, including when Chrome is closed. The extension helps you configure a monitor; it does not perform ongoing checks in your browser. Your browser’s login, cookies, and signed-in sessions are not transferred. A page must be accessible to PageFluxer independently. Before you start monitoring, check the cloud preview and confirm that it sees the content you intended. Some sites restrict automated access or use content the cloud cannot capture. SIGN IN ON PAGEFLUXER A PageFluxer account is required to save and run monitors. Sign in on the PageFluxer website; no API key is needed. Open email sign-in links in the same Chrome profile to keep your draft. Available schedules, monitor limits, and rendering options depend on your PageFluxer plan. Free and paid plans are described at https://pagefluxer.com/pricing. PERMISSIONS WITH A PURPOSE • Current-tab access: read the URL and title after you click the extension. • Scripting: temporarily add the element picker to that page when you request it. • Side panel: keep setup controls open beside the page. • Storage: preserve unfinished drafts during the current browser session. The extension does not request access to all websites, browser history, or cookies. It has no extension analytics. Continuing shares your chosen URL, title, selected-text excerpts, selectors, and alert settings with PageFluxer. Works with Chrome desktop. Embedded frames, shadow DOM, browser settings pages, and login-only content are not supported by the page picker.
