Overview

A smart new tab that organizes the pages and page groups you actually use.

PageEcho turns every new tab into a personal browser workspace built around the pages you actually use. Instead of showing only generic frequently visited websites, PageEcho combines recent activity, repeat visits, active days, and effective usage time to help you return to useful pages faster. Core features: • Pin, edit, expand, and drag shortcuts into your preferred order. • Continue using pages that have become relevant recently. • Discover daily destinations based on repeated browser activity. • Separate work and personal recommendations using browsing time patterns. • Receive suggested page groups for pages frequently used together. • Edit page-group names and included pages, then open the complete group with one click. • Search locally indexed webpage titles, URLs, and optional page content. • Automatically close idle tabs with protections for pinned, active, and media-playing tabs. • Import bookmarks and browser history only after you grant permission. • Export and restore a local PageEcho backup. • Use PageEcho in eight supported interface languages. Privacy by design: PageEcho processes and stores browsing activity locally on your device. Browser history, bookmarks, and webpage-text access are optional permissions that you can grant or revoke from PageEcho settings. PageEcho does not require an account and does not upload your browsing database to a PageEcho server. PageEcho replaces Chrome’s default new-tab page. You remain in control of every shortcut, recommendation, page group, permission, retention setting, and locally stored record.
