PageDrop – Full Page Screenshot & Screen Capture
Overview
Full-page, visible & region screenshots. Annotate, crop, blur & export PNG/JPEG/PDF. Privacy-first — activeTab only.
PageDrop helps you capture, mark up, and share screenshots from any normal website, fast and without leaving your flow. CAPTURE THREE WAYS Windows • Print Page (Alt+P) — screenshot what you see in the browser window (viewport) • Scroll & Capture (Alt+G) — stitch a full scrollable page into one image • Snip Area (Alt+S) — drag to select exactly the region you want Mac • Print Page — ⌥⇧P (Option + P) • Scroll & Capture — ⌥⇧G (Option + G) • Snip Area — ⌥⇧S (Option + S) Long full-page captures show a progress indicator in the popup. PageDrop preloads lazy content, handles sticky headers on complex layouts, and restores your page automatically if a capture is interrupted. AFTER YOU CAPTURE Every screenshot opens in the PageDrop editor (a browser tab) so you can review and refine it before saving: • Draw, rectangles, and arrows • Text with size, color, opacity, bold, italic, underline, highlight, and strikethrough • Crop to focus on what matters • Blur / redact — permanently pixelate sensitive areas before sharing • Rotate, undo, and reset to the original capture • Copy to clipboard, or download as PNG, JPEG, or PDF when you're ready • When a very long page is split into multiple images, PDF export can combine all parts into one multi-page document Nothing is auto-downloaded — you stay in control. Clipboard access is requested only when you choose Copy. Download filenames use the page URL where possible. RECENT CAPTURES The editor keeps a history of your recent screenshots in the session so you can switch between them, continue editing, or remove ones you don't need. QUICK ACCESS • Toolbar popup: Print Page, Scroll & Capture, Snip Area (with light/dark theme) • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+P / Alt+G / Alt+S (Mac: Option + P, Option + G, Option + S) • Right-click menu: PageDrop on any page PRIVACY Screenshots are processed locally in your browser. PageDrop does not upload your captures to external servers during normal use. PageDrop uses activeTab permission only — it does not request broad access to every website at install time. The extension runs only when you start a capture. Theme preference and capture history are stored locally. LIMITATIONS • PageDrop does not work on chrome:// pages or the New Tab page — open a normal website first • Refresh the page once (F5) after installing or updating • Very long pages may be saved at reduced resolution when they exceed browser canvas limits, or split into multiple images • Recent captures are stored locally in your browser until you delete them (up to 50) • Incognito captures open the editor in a normal window Perfect for bug reports, documentation, feedback, tutorials, and sharing what's on screen clearly and quickly.
