PageCarry — Save Webpage as PDF
Overview
Save webpage content as a PDF with real, selectable text. Links and headings kept. Runs on your device — no account, no watermark.
Save webpage content as a PDF with real, selectable text — a website to PDF converter that runs entirely on your device. Save webpage as PDF in one keystroke: articles, documentation, receipts, Wikipedia pages with formulas, and other readable page content. The text stays selectable and searchable, links keep working, and headings become PDF bookmarks. It is a true PDF of the web page, not a screenshot inside a PDF. Text does not pixelate when you zoom, you can copy from it, and pdftotext can read it. Output size depends on the content, fonts and images. Because the whole pipeline runs locally, it works where cloud converters fail — including readable content already loaded on pages you are signed into, internal tools and localhost. Page content is not uploaded. Images may need a network connection. No account is required and no watermark is added. WHAT YOU GET • Reader mode that strips navigation, ads and clutter — or full page, or just the part you selected. • Page size A4, Letter, or Continuous: one long page with no page breaks, for reading on a phone and for uploading to an LLM. • Working hyperlinks, a PDF outline built from the headings, and the title, author, source URL and date written into the PDF metadata. • Images embedded and downscaled to a size you choose — or skipped entirely. • An element remover: click anything you don't want before you save. • Real typography — serif or sans body text, monospaced code blocks, ruled tables, proper blockquotes. Tables wrap and break across pages correctly; supported mathematical structures retain their layout. • Live progress while it works, and a specific message when something fails. Never a silent no-op. PRIVACY PDF conversion runs on your device; page content is not uploaded. The extension reads a page when you invoke a clip. It requests no all-site host access at installation. Page images may be fetched when embedding is enabled; you can skip images. Settings and some state can follow your Chrome profile through Chrome sync. Optional launch calibration is off by default. If you turn it on, the extension sends a monthly usage range, schema and version to help us understand usage before any future paid model is decided. It sends no page content or exact clip count. See the privacy policy for the complete data description. LAUNCH AVAILABILITY The launch version has no monthly clip limit and requires no purchase. Batch export, merged PDFs and paid upgrades are not currently available. LIMITS The PDF reformats content for reading; it does not reproduce every page's screen layout. Only loaded page content can be captured. Some websites and browser-protected pages cannot be clipped. The interface supports eight languages; PDF font coverage differs. Missing glyphs and image failures are reported, and existing PDF files are not edited. FREQUENTLY ASKED How do I save a webpage as a PDF? Open the page, press the shortcut or click the icon, choose a size, save. It lands in your downloads with nothing uploaded. Will the text be selectable and searchable? Yes — the PDF contains real, typeset text, not an image of text. Select it, copy it, search it, zoom without pixelation. Can I get one long page with no page breaks? Yes — choose Continuous. One tall page, ideal for phones and for uploading to AI tools. Is page content uploaded? No. Conversion runs on your device. Image embedding can fetch the page's images, and Chrome can sync your settings. Optional launch calibration sends a usage range only when you opt in. Read the privacy policy for all network and storage behavior. Keyboard shortcuts, an options page with eight sections, and eight languages: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, 日本語, Português (Brasil), Русский, 中文.
