SAVE WEBPAGES AND AI CHATS THE WAY YOU NEED THEM Page 2 PDF turns the webpage or conversation open in your current Chrome tab into a PDF. Instead of forcing every page through the same export method, Page 2 PDF lets you choose the result that fits your task: a visual full-page copy, a document with selectable content, or a clean conversation without unrelated interface elements. ONE EXTENSION, THREE EXPORT MODES ACCURATE COPY — PRESERVE THE FULL PAGE AS IT LOOKS Capture the entire webpage, including content beyond the visible area, as a screenshot-based PDF. Choose Accurate Copy when preserving the page layout, colors, images, and overall visual appearance matters most. EDITABLE DOCUMENT — KEEP PAGE CONTENT SELECTABLE Create a PDF with selectable text and available links, media, and form fields. Choose between: • the current appearance of the webpage; • a version optimized for printing. For regular webpages, you can also: • choose portrait or landscape orientation; • exclude images; • exclude links; • remove page styling; • optionally create a ZIP archive containing the PDF and related page materials. Choose Editable Document when you need to select, copy, reuse, or work with the page content after export. AI / CHAT — SAVE THE CONVERSATION, NOT THE INTERFACE Export the conversation open in your current tab without unrelated interface elements. Page 2 PDF supports all of AI-Chats. On supported AI platforms, you can export: • the entire conversation; • only AI responses. For messengers, you can export: • the entire conversation; • only incoming messages. Before exporting, you can exclude: • images; • video; • audio; • voice messages; • links. Choose AI / Chat when you want a cleaner PDF focused on the conversation itself rather than the surrounding website interface. WHAT PAGE 2 PDF CAN PRESERVE The content preserved in the final PDF depends on the selected export mode. Accurate Copy can preserve: • the visual appearance of the full webpage; • content located below the currently visible area; • the page layout, colors, and images as page snapshots. Editable Document can preserve: • selectable text; • available links; • available images and other media; • available form fields; • the current page appearance or a print-optimized layout. AI / Chat can preserve: • complete conversations; • AI responses; • incoming messenger messages; • supported images, video, audio, voice messages, and links when they are not excluded. LOCAL PROCESSING Page content is processed locally in Chrome. The extension processes only the tab where you start the export. Unrelated tabs are not included in the conversion process. This allows the webpage or conversation to be converted without sending it to a separate online PDF conversion service. HOW TO SAVE A WEBPAGE OR CHAT AS PDF 1. Open the webpage or supported conversation you want to save. 2. Open Page 2 PDF from the Chrome toolbar. 3. Choose an export mode: • Accurate Copy; • Editable Document; • AI / Chat. 4. Adjust the available export settings. 5. Start the export. 6. Follow the export progress or cancel the process when needed. 7. Preview the completed PDF before downloading it. 8. Download the PDF or, in Editable Document mode, optionally download a ZIP archive with the related page materials. PREVIEW, PROGRESS, AND EXPORT CONTROL Page 2 PDF shows the progress of the current export. You can: • monitor the conversion process; • cancel an export before it is completed; • preview the finished PDF; • download the file after reviewing the result. KNOWN LIMITATIONS • Page 2 PDF exports the current Chrome tab. It does not crawl or convert an entire website automatically. • One tab is exported at a time. • Accurate Copy creates a screenshot-based PDF. It is designed primarily for preserving visual appearance rather than producing editable page content. • Editable Document preserves page elements that are available for processing. Use Accurate Copy when matching the original visual appearance is the main priority. • The layout of an Editable Document may differ from the screenshot-based Accurate Copy result, especially when using the print-optimized version or excluding page elements. • AI / Chat mode is optimized for the supported platforms listed above. • Available settings depend on the selected export mode and the type of page being exported.
