One click: screenshots the entire scrolled page, opens it in a new tab, and copies it to your clipboard.

One click. Then paste it wherever you were going to paste it. HOW IT WORKS Chrome only lets an extension photograph the visible viewport. So Page Shot scrolls the page one screen at a time, photographs each screen, and stitches the strips into a single PNG at your display's full pixel density. On a Retina screen a typical article comes out around 2,560 pixels wide. WHAT IT GETS RIGHT • Sticky headers appear once, at the top — not smeared down every screen. • Fixed banners and chat bubbles are kept for the first strip only, so they do not repeat. • Lazy-loaded images are loaded before the capture starts, and the page is measured again afterwards, because lazy content usually changes the real page height. • Single-page apps that scroll a div instead of the document are detected and captured in full. • Your scroll position, and every style it touched, are restored when it finishes. WHILE IT RUNS A progress bar in the popup counts the strips (Capturing 3 / 9), the toolbar badge shows the same count, and the page itself dims so you can see what is happening. Press Esc, or hit Cancel, to stop — the page is put back exactly as it was. WHEN IT FINISHES The image opens in a new tab and is already on your clipboard. In that tab, Cmd+C / Ctrl+C copies it again, and there is a Download PNG button. If you have selected text on the page, the shortcut leaves your selection alone. PRIVACY Page Shot asks for no host permissions and makes no network requests. Nothing is uploaded. There is no analytics of any kind. The capture is built and stored entirely inside your browser, and captures are deleted after 30 minutes. The permissions it does use: • activeTab — read the page only at the moment you click the toolbar button. No standing access to any site. • scripting — inject the script that measures and scrolls the page. Every change it makes is reverted. • storage and unlimitedStorage — hand the finished PNG to the tab that displays it. A long page exceeds the default 10 MB quota. LIMITS, HONESTLY • Chrome blocks all extensions on chrome:// pages, the Web Store, and other browsers' internal pages. Nothing can capture those. • Chrome allows two screenshots per second, so a 20-screen page takes about ten seconds. • Keep the tab in front while it works — Chrome can only photograph the frontmost tab. • file:// pages need "Allow access to file URLs" enabled on the extension's details page.
