Overview

Full page scrolling screenshot & screen capture tool. Auto-stitch, annotate, export to PDF or image. 100% private local processing.

Full-page screenshot tool: capture a whole scrolling web page as one image in your browser, annotate it, export PNG / JPG / PDF, and read text with offline OCR. Nothing is uploaded. Scrolling feeds, lazy-loaded images, wide tables and sticky navigation are handled for you. WHY A PLAIN SCREENSHOT IS NOT ENOUGH The built-in "capture full size screenshot" in Chrome DevTools works on a plain article. It does not work on the pages people actually need to capture: • A feed that loads more as you scroll stops at the first screen. • Images that load lazily come out as grey placeholders. • A sticky header is repeated down the entire image, once per screen. • A table wider than the window loses its right-hand columns. Page Screenshot Pro handles all four. It scrolls the page itself, photographs one screen at a time, and stitches the pieces back together. WHAT IT DOES • Full-page capture. Click the toolbar icon and choose "Full-page capture" — Alt+Shift+D just opens that popup for you. The extension scrolls the page and joins every screen into a single image. Long pages are split into segments and reassembled; seams are compared and aligned within ±16 px so text does not jump where two captures meet. • Infinite scroll is expanded first. The extension loads the whole feed before capturing, up to 40 screens, and tells you in the progress text when it hit that cap instead of silently cutting the image short. • Lazy images are waited for. It scrolls ahead and waits for each bitmap to actually decode, so you get the image rather than a placeholder. • Fixed and sticky elements appear once. Navigation stays on the first screen and is hidden from every screen after it — including toolbars inside web components, and headers that only become sticky once you start scrolling. • Pages wider than the window. Wide tables, kanban boards and diagrams are captured as a grid and reassembled, without losing the right edge. • Sticky titles inside their own scroll box are left alone. Sections that scroll independently keep their own heading, because during a full-page capture it is ordinary content, not page chrome. FOUR WAYS TO CAPTURE • Full-page capture — click the toolbar icon (Alt+Shift+D opens the popup). • Visible area — Alt+Shift+V captures it directly, without opening the popup. • Select area — draw a box around what you want. • Click an element — right-click any element and choose "Capture this element". Pro. Both keyboard shortcuts can be rebound on Chrome's keyboard shortcuts page. ANNOTATION EDITOR — NINE TOOLS, ALL FREE The editor opens on the shot (or from history later) with nine tools: • Select and move • Rectangle • Ellipse • Arrow • Freehand pen • Highlighter (multiplies, so text underneath stays readable) • Text — typed directly on the image, multi-line, IME-friendly • Mosaic — pixelates whatever is already on the canvas, for blurring names and account details • Crop Fifty levels of undo. The whole editor is free; there is no Pro badge on any of the nine tools. EXPORT • PNG and JPG, with adjustable JPEG quality. • PDF export — the whole capture becomes one PDF page sized to the image, so nothing is cut or rescaled. Pro. • Merge — tick several shots in history and export them as one PDF with one shot per page. Pro. • Copy to clipboard — writes a real image. If the page does not have focus it says so instead of pretending it worked. OCR — TEXT OUT OF AN IMAGE Recognise text inside a screenshot without sending the image anywhere. Chinese and English language data ship inside the extension, so it works offline. The engine loads on first use (10–30 seconds, then cached). Tall images are split into overlapping horizontal bands and recognised band by band, so a long screenshot is not shrunk until the text becomes unreadable. Pro, and marked experimental. LOCAL FILES AND HISTORY • Local HTML files work once you switch on "Allow access to file URLs" on chrome://extensions. Without it Chrome refuses to photograph a file:// tab, and the extension tells you that rather than failing quietly. • History keeps your last 30 shots on this device, so you can reopen and re-annotate one later, delete it, or tick several and merge them into one PDF. SETTINGS • Default export format and JPEG quality. • Ask where to save, or not. • Save into a subfolder. • Filename template — {title}, {host}, {date}, {time}, {width}, {height}. • Copy to clipboard automatically after a capture. • Open the editor automatically after a capture. • Expand infinite scroll / preload lazy images before capturing. Settings sync with your Chrome account. PRIVACY — NOTHING IS UPLOADED Capture, stitching, annotation, PDF export and OCR all run inside your browser. There is no analytics, no tracking, no account, and no server that stores your images. The extension talks to the network for exactly three things: • The optional licence check, which sends an installation ID and nothing else. • Opening Waffo Pancake's hosted checkout page when you choose to buy Pro. • The feedback form, if you choose to send feedback. Your screenshots, annotations and recognised text never leave your device. FREE AND PRO Free forever, no credit card: • Full-page, visible-area and region capture • Infinite-scroll expansion and lazy-image preloading • The entire annotation editor, all nine tools • PNG and JPG output, filename templates, subfolders • Up to 20 captures a day Pro adds: • Element capture (right-click an element) • PDF export • Merging several shots into one PDF • OCR, Chinese and English • No daily cap Pro is $4.99 a month, $19.9 a year, or $39.9 once (lifetime). Billed in US dollars by Waffo Pancake, our merchant of record. Cancel a subscription from inside the extension — no email required. If you cancel and later subscribe again, the unused time you already paid for is added to the new subscription rather than lost. If you bought Pro on another computer or reinstalled Chrome, enter the email address you paid with and choose Restore purchase — you do not have to pay twice. Keep that payment email safe: it is the only way to bring the licence back. WHO IT IS FOR • Bug reports and QA — capture a whole broken layout in one image, circle the defect, mosaic the account name out of it. • Documentation and tutorials — long step-by-step guides with arrows and highlights, exported as one PNG or one PDF. • Design and content review — wide boards and tables come back intact, so a review comment can point at a pixel instead of describing it. • Research and archiving — keep a readable copy of a page before it changes; with OCR the text inside the image is searchable again. REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITS • Chrome 116 or newer, on Windows, macOS or Linux. • Interface available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French and German. It follows Chrome's UI language by default and can be overridden per device. • Infinite-scroll pages are capped at 40 screens. • Extremely tall captures are downscaled to fit a 16 000 px single-side canvas limit. • Chrome's own pages (chrome://, the Web Store) cannot be captured — Chrome does not allow extensions to photograph them.
