Page Notes — Feedback for Agents
Overview
Point at a page, leave notes on the glass, and send an agent-ready packet.
Page Notes lets you point at a live webpage, leave notes and copy suggestions on the parts that need work, and export a complete feedback packet for your AI coding assistant. Use it when a screenshot in chat is not enough. Instead of “the button on the left,” you can pin the exact heading, control, or empty space, write the change in plain language, and hand your assistant the instruction plus an annotated screenshot of what you saw. Install Page Notes if you review websites and want that feedback to travel with the work, not get lost in a thread. What you can do after installing: Hover and click to pin the text, button, or block you are talking about. Click several items to discuss them together, or drag on empty space to mark where something is missing. Write the change on the page. Double-click a heading, paragraph, link, or button label to propose new wording. The real website is not edited; the suggestion is queued as feedback. Capture annotated screenshots of the visible page, then copy a Markdown brief or download a packet with images and page locators for your assistant. Save reviews in a local backlog and reopen them later on the same Chrome profile. No account, API key, or server is required. Page Notes prepares feedback. It does not change the website or send your notes to an AI service. You choose what to copy or download and who receives it. How to start: open any website, click the Page Notes icon, and choose Point at this page. Add your notes, then use Copy for Agents to paste the instructions into your assistant. If there are screenshots, attach the downloaded packet so the assistant can see what you saw. Notes and screenshots stay in this Chrome profile until you export them. Screenshots include everything visible in the viewport, so check them before sharing. Uninstalling Page Notes removes its local backlog. Works in desktop Chrome on all websites. Disclaimer: Chrome settings pages, the Chrome Web Store, and some protected or embedded content cannot be inspected.
