Page Fold
Overview
Temporarily fold distracting or oversized sections of the current webpage into compact placeholders.
Page Fold is a small page-layout tool for temporarily compressing parts of the webpage you do not need to keep fully visible. Activate Fold Mode from the toolbar or with Alt+Shift+F. Move the pointer over the page to preview the current block. Use [ and ] to move between narrower and broader DOM ancestors, then click to fold the selected block. The original element stays in the document and is temporarily hidden behind a compact placeholder that shows the approximate folded height and a short local label. Click the placeholder to restore the block. Multiple sections can be folded in the same tab. Exiting Fold Mode removes the selector UI but leaves existing folds usable, so you can continue reading with a shorter page and reopen any folded section when needed. Reloading or leaving the page naturally clears the session-only changes. Page Fold does not create an account, store browsing history, sync data, use analytics, call a remote service, or persist folded states. It operates only on the current regular HTTP(S) page after the user invokes the extension.
