Page Exporter v2
Overview
Capture full-page screenshots and export page content as Word/HTML documents.
Page Exporter lets you capture and save any webpage in three formats — all processed entirely on your device. THREE EXPORT MODES • Full Page Screenshot — Scroll through the entire page, capture every section, and stitch them into a single high-resolution PNG image. Perfect for archiving long articles, documentation, or dynamic pages that don't print well. • Export as Word (.doc) — Extract headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, and images into a Word-compatible document with clean formatting. Open it directly in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or any word processor. • Export as HTML — Save the page content as a standalone, self-contained HTML file you can open in any browser — no internet connection required. WORKS WHERE OTHERS FAIL Page Exporter is built to handle modern web apps that load content dynamically. It pre-scrolls the page to trigger lazy-loaded content before capturing, so nothing is missed. It works great on wiki pages, documentation sites, online documents, and any content-rich webpage. YOUR PRIVACY COMES FIRST Page Exporter processes everything locally on your device. No data is ever sent to any server, no analytics are collected, and no tracking occurs. The extension requests zero host permissions — it only activates on the tab you're viewing when you click the button. KEY FEATURES • One-click export in three formats • Full-page screenshot with smart stitching and high-DPI support • Automatic cleanup — strips navigation, toolbars, and ads from exports • Selection-based export — highlight text to export only what you need • Progress bar with live status updates • Cancel button to abort any operation • Smart recovery — close the popup and reopen it to see ongoing progress • 60-second safety timeout prevents hangs on infinite-scroll pages • Clean, modern dark-themed popup interface PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • activeTab — Access the page you're currently viewing only when you click the extension • scripting — Inject the export logic into the current tab • downloads — Save exported files to your Downloads folder • storage — Remember operation state so the popup can recover if closed and reopened No host permissions.
