Page Evidence saves the page you are looking at as a single image stamped with the capture date and time, the URL, and the page title. When a capture fails, it shows you why and falls back to the visible area instead of hanging, and every saved file gets a predictable name. What it does - Full page: stitches the whole page into one tall image. Fixed headers are temporarily moved out of the way only during capture and restored afterward (if they cannot be restored, you are told, and the page is never reloaded on its own). - Visible area only: captures just what's on screen right now. If a full-page capture fails, this is used automatically, and the reason is shown on screen instead of leaving you stuck. - Select an area: drag to capture a rectangle. Keep it as evidence - Stamps the date/time (both your local time and ISO format), the URL, and the page title at the bottom of the image. On by default; can be turned off in settings. - Annotate right after capture with an arrow, a box, a number, or blur. Blur is for hiding personal details before you share the image. When a page can't be captured - Pages the browser protects — settings pages, the extension store, a new tab, and so on — can't be captured. Instead of hanging with no response, Page Evidence shows why: "This page is protected, so it can't be captured. Please try another page." Pricing - Free: all 3 capture modes, the evidence band, annotation (arrow, box, number, blur), and saving as PNG.
