The Core Concept The Page Editor is a "Design-mode toolkit" that allows users to manipulate and redesign any live website directly in their browser. It is built as a completely safe sandbox—meaning users can experiment with mockups, client sites, or templates without altering the actual live code or risking breaking the real site. 1. Select: Users can click on any element on a page to target it. It features a smart breadcrumb trail at the top of the panel, allowing users to easily hop up to select larger parent sections or containers. 2. Edit: The core functionality lets users rewrite text on the fly, tweak colors, adjust sizing and spacing, or seamlessly swap out existing images for new ones. 3. Animate: A newly integrated, robust library of pure CSS effects. Users can inject professional-grade animations—like entrance fades, continuous scrolling marquees, interactive hover-zooms, and typewriter text—onto any element with a single click. 4. Arrange: Full layout control that allows users to drag and drop to reorder items, nudge them up or down, duplicate sections, or completely hide and delete elements they don't want. 5. Note & Share: A built-in feedback system where users can pin sticky notes directly onto elements for things they want changed but can't edit themselves. Finally, it allows them to export a perfect screenshot with their notes embedded directly in the image.
