# Page Destroyer: Chrome Web Store listing --- ## Store listing tab ### Name (from manifest; limit 75) ``` Page Destroyer ``` 14 characters of 75. ### Summary / short description (The current manifest description is "Smash any webpage with a hammer, machine gun, chainsaw or fire. Pure stress relief, and is fine to keep. ``` Smash any webpage with a hammer, machine gun, chainsaw or fire. Click, wreck, repair. Nothing stored, nothing sent. ``` ### Category Fun (under Lifestyle). ### Language English ``` Had enough of that expense portal? Smash it. Page Destroyer turns any webpage into something you can break. Click the toolbar icon or press Alt+Shift+D, pick a weapon from the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, and go. Four weapons: • Hammer (1): click to crack the screen like glass, with shards flying off. • Gun (2): hold the mouse to fire. Bullet holes, sparks and ejected shells. • Chainsaw (3): drag to cut jagged gashes across the page. • Fire (4): hold and move to scorch the page and leave burn marks. A damage counter keeps a running total of what you have wrecked. Press M to toggle the sound effects, C to repair the page and start over, and Esc to exit. Click the icon again to stop at any time. Nothing is actually harmed. The damage is drawn on a layer over the page and disappears when you repair, exit or reload. Forms, logins and data on the page are not touched. Privacy: Page Destroyer collects nothing, stores nothing and makes no network requests. No analytics, no ads, no accounts. Sounds are generated in your browser. It only runs on the tab you activate it on, and only when you ask. Chrome does not allow extensions on chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store, so it will not work there. ``` ### Graphic assets - Store icon: `store-icon-128.png` (128x128) - Screenshots (1280x800): `screenshot-1-hammer.png`, `screenshot-2-gun.png`, `screenshot-3-saw-fire.png`, `screenshot-4-any-site.png` - Small promo tile (440x280): `promo-small-440x280.png` - Marquee promo tile (1400x560): `promo-marquee-1400x560.png` ### Additional fields - Official URL: none (leave blank unless you have a verified domain) - Homepage URL: https://panshulbh16.github.io/page-destroyer/ - Support URL: https://panshulbh16.github.io/page-destroyer/ (support contact: bharadwajpanshul@gmail.com) - Mature content: No --- ## Privacy practices tab ### Single purpose description ``` Page Destroyer lets the user playfully "destroy" the page in the current tab for stress relief, by drawing visual damage effects (cracks, bullet holes, cuts, scorch marks) on a temporary overlay that can be cleared at any time. ``` ### Permission justification: activeTab ``` activeTab is used so the extension can act only on the tab the user is currently viewing, and only after the user clicks the toolbar icon or presses the Alt+Shift+D shortcut. This grants temporary access to that single tab so the overlay can be added. No access is requested to any other tab or site, and the extension requests no host permissions. ``` ### Permission justification: scripting ``` scripting is required to call chrome.scripting.executeScript, which injects destroyer.js (a file packaged inside the extension) into the active tab when the user activates it. That script draws the damage overlay and toolbar. It does not read, collect or modify page content or form data, and no remotely hosted code is ever executed. ``` ### Background service worker (if asked, or for the reviewer notes) ``` The background service worker (background.js) only listens for the toolbar click and keyboard shortcut, checks that the tab is a normal web page, and injects destroyer.js. It holds no state, stores nothing and makes no network requests. ``` ### Host permissions None requested. The manifest declares only `activeTab` and `scripting`. No `host_permissions` and no content scripts that run automatically. ### Are you using remote code? **No.** ``` No, I am not using remote code. All JavaScript (background.js and destroyer.js) is included in the extension package. Nothing is loaded from external servers, and no eval or dynamically fetched code is used. ``` ### Data usage What user data do you plan to collect from users now or in the future? - [ ] Personally identifiable information - [ ] Health information - [ ] Financial and payment information - [ ] Authentication information - [ ] Personal communications - [ ] Location - [ ] Web history - [ ] User activity - [ ] Website content Certifications (tick **all three**): - [x] I do not sell or transfer user data to third parties, outside of the approved use cases - [x] I do not use or transfer user data for purposes that are unrelated to my item's single purpose - [x] I do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes ### Privacy policy URL ``` https://panshulbh16.github.io/page-destroyer/privacy/ ``` --- ## Account / contact - Developer / publisher name: Panshul Bharadwaj - Contact email: bharadwajpanshul@gmail.com --- ## Distribution tab - Visibility: **Public** - Distribution: **All regions** - Pricing: Free --- ## Package Upload `page-destroyer-store.zip` (manifest.json, background.js, destroyer.js and icons/ at the zip root, version 1.0.0). ### Optional note for the reviewer (Test instructions) ``` No login or setup needed. The extension does not run on chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store by design. ```
