Turn the page you're reading into a game level: 8 arcade games played with its own words, gaps and pictures.

Click the Page Arcade icon on any website and the page freezes into a game level. The words become targets, the empty space becomes a maze, the pictures become obstacles — and when you press Esc, the page is exactly as you left it. 8 GAMES, BUILT FROM THE PAGE IN FRONT OF YOU • Snake — slither through the page's empty space. Text is wall, thin lines and borders you can cross, and the screen edges wrap. • Page Chomp — eat the dots in the gutters and margins while four ghosts chase you. Pellets turn the tables. • Word Blaster — the page's words fall in waves. Shoot them from a rocket; headings come down as bosses, links drop power-ups. • Type Storm — type the falling words to blast them and get a words-per-minute score for the page. • Brickout — every word on screen is a brick. Headings take two hits, images are steel. • Whack-a-Word — words pop out of the page. Click them fast, but never the bombs. • Page Roller — roll a sticky ball over the page and swallow everything smaller than you, then grow. • Gravity Crumble — knock words loose, bring the whole page down, and fling the pieces into a bin. MADE TO FEEL GOOD • Letters shatter and fall, screens shake, particles fly, and every sound is synthesized live. • Tall levels: Snake, Page Chomp and Page Roller can play across several screens of a long page. • Scroll on the menu to turn another part of the page into a new level. • XP, 23 achievements, and unlockable skins — including a flying saucer and a paper plane. • Share a picture of the wrecked page with your score, straight to your clipboard. • Optional per-site leaderboards: see how you rank on en.wikipedia.org this week. RESPECTS THE PAGE AND YOUR PRIVACY • It does nothing until you click its icon on a tab, and asks for no access to your sites. • The page is never changed. Leaving restores it, scroll position and all. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Posting scores and creating share links are optional and off until you choose them. Controls: arrow keys or WASD, the mouse in pointer games, Esc to pause, N for sound, and Alt+Shift+P to start.
