Keep your CoderPad practice code after the sandbox expires. PadKeeper backs up your own CoderPad sandbox projects locally as you prepare for coding interviews. Revisit earlier solutions and restore supported versions in a fresh pad. Features • Save automatically or manually. Autosave checks for changes about every 30 seconds and saves only when content changes. • Browse version history, inspect files, and search your saved sessions. • Restore supported files, folders, and dependencies in a new pad, then keep saving to the same session. • Download files as ZIP or export and import session history as JSON. • Set version and storage limits, and start fresh pads in 67 environments. Get started 1. Pin PadKeeper to your toolbar. 2. Open your practice project at app.coderpad.io. 3. Choose automatic or manual saving. Nothing is captured until you choose. Your data Backups stay in your Chrome profile. Local backups and exports are not encrypted. Uninstalling deletes local backups, so export anything you want to keep first. PadKeeper accesses app.coderpad.io to save projects and run the restores you request. Restoring sends the selected files to the new pad, which may download packages from public registries. Creating a new pad contacts CoderPad but sends no saved project contents. No account, cloud sync, or analytics. Limits • Only files exposed by CoderPad are saved. Binary restore, Google Sheets, Jupyter, and unknown or custom environments are unsupported. • Dependency restore supports root package-lock.json files, exact-pinned root requirements.txt packages, and CoderPad's single-module Go workspace. Other package changes stop with an explanation. • Capture is limited to 2,000 files and 25 MB of file data; exports to 100 MB. Background tabs may autosave less often. • Older versions are removed at your version limit. New saves stop at your storage cap.
