PackSearch 2.0 brings professor ratings, grade history, and a full class scheduler right into NC State's MyPack. ━━ HOVER MODE ━━ Hover over any instructor's name in MyPack to see: • RateMyProfessors: overall rating, difficulty, number of ratings, "would take again," and a link to the full profile. • Grade distributions: the A/B/C/… breakdown for that exact course from NC State's Gradient, combined across past sections, with per-semester and per-section details. ━━ NEW: SCHEDULER MODE ━━ Open it from the PackSearch button on the Manage Classes page. • Search every course at once and compare every section side by side. • Best professors first: sections grouped by instructor and sorted by rating, with real grade history. • Search electives for your major: 340+ undergraduate and graduate programs plus every GEP category, ordered by rating. Your major is filled in from your Degree Audit. • Watch your week build itself on a live calendar, with time-conflict and campus-travel warnings and a credit-hour counter. • Labs and recitations are matched to your lecture automatically. • One-click Pack Planner import, including the Graduate Planner for grad students. • Review your week, then add it to your MyPack Shopping Cart in one click. PackSearch never enrolls you; you finish enrollment in MyPack. ━━ GETTING STARTED ━━ After installing, open Manage Classes in MyPack. A one-minute setup signs you in to Gradient (in a small NC State login window that closes itself) so grade history can load. RateMyProfessors ratings work without any login. Use the PackSearch toolbar icon to turn hover ratings on or off, clear cached data, or send feedback and bug reports straight to the team. PackSearch is an independent, unofficial tool.
