Inspect API traffic and console errors in Chrome's Side Panel: search, replay, compare, and export to Postman or HAR.

Packetpane intercepts fetch and XMLHttpRequest traffic from the page you're viewing and shows it live in Chrome's native Side Panel — no need to open DevTools. See and find • Live request feed — method, status, host and path, time, latency, and size for every request, sortable by column, with rapid repeats and polling collapsed into a single "×N" row and an optional "By domain" view. • Search that understands APIs — filter with status:>=400, status:5xx, method:post, host:api, url:/v1, and -exclude; search plain words across URLs, headers, and bodies; or query the JSON itself with key:name and path.to.key == "value". • Filters — All / 2xx / 4xx-5xx / GraphQL / JSON-only / Slow (>1s) / Console errors. • Console & error capture — uncaught errors, unhandled promise rejections, and console.error() calls appear right in the feed next to the network traffic. • GraphQL-aware — shows the operation being called (e.g. "GetUser") even for anonymous queries, and flags errors[] hiding inside a 200 response. • Pause and Preserve log — freeze the feed while you read it, or keep requests across page navigations. Act on any request • One-click row actions — copy as cURL, Ask AI (copies a masked, plain-text debugging prompt to paste into the AI chat of your choice), Replay, and Save (filed in a collection named after the host). • Edit & Replay — change a captured request's method, URL, headers, or body and resend it from its original tab, so cookies and session behave like the real page. Resending a write asks for a second click first. • Load test — send a request up to 100 times with configurable concurrency, delay, and timeout, with live progress and a results breakdown (latency percentiles, status codes, failures). • Compare requests — pick any two requests for a structural diff of their query params, headers, and bodies. Understand • Smart error detection — 4xx/5xx statuses, GraphQL errors, and error-shaped bodies on a 200 are flagged with a plain-language explanation. • Performance analyzer — p50/p90/p99 latency, the slowest and largest requests, a timeline, and repeated-call detection. • Schema detection — infers a TypeScript-style interface for an endpoint's response from every sample seen. • Interactive JSON tree — expand/collapse, copy any value or its path, readable multi-line strings and embedded JSON, and in-body search. Export and share • Postman collection + environment — hosts become {baseUrl} variables; credentials recognised by name (auth and cookie headers, API-key headers and query parameters, sensitive JSON/form body fields) move into the environment file as secret variables, so the collection itself is safe to share. Review request bodies before sharing, and treat the environment file like a password file. • HAR export of the visible feed, copy as cURL or fetch(), a PII-masked "sanitized copy" of a request/response, and saved collections that export to Postman too. Comfortable to use • Keyboard shortcuts (press ?), resizable columns, adjustable text size, a layout that works in a narrow panel, and six looks: Paper, Ink, Slate, Coral, Terminal, or follow your system. Large payloads are capped and clearly marked as truncated, so huge responses never freeze the tab. Everything stays on your device. Packetpane makes no network requests of its own beyond what you explicitly trigger with Replay, Send, or Load Test, and sends nothing to any third party. See the privacy policy for details.
