ClearGuard Focus

Applies visible website rules and focus protection for ClearGuard families and schools.

ClearGuard Focus helps families and schools manage website access with simple controls and a privacy-first approach. Parents can set weekly focus schedules, manage shared website rules, and control access from the Family portal on their phone or computer. Schools can apply website and focus rules through their connected classroom. NEW: WEBSITE REQUESTS AND FOCUS BREAKS • Children can select “Request this website” or “Ask for a break.” • Parents approve or decline requests from the Family portal. • Website access can be approved for 15 minutes, one hour, or until midnight. • Focus breaks temporarily pause scheduled focus and Focus now. • Temporary approvals expire automatically. Safety blocks remain active. • Family schedules use trusted server time to resist changes to the PC’s clock. SIMPLE CONNECTION On a paired Windows PC, ClearGuard Focus follows the child profile assigned to the signed-in Windows account. Browser-only connections are also supported using a separate browser profile for each child. PRIVACY COMES FIRST ClearGuard never sells personal data or uses it for advertising. It does not collect screenshots, keystrokes, passwords, private messages, camera or microphone recordings, page contents, or saved browser history. Website requests share only the request type, website domain, and connected child/device identity—not page contents. OPTIONAL OPEN-TAB SHARING Open-tab status sharing is off by default. When enabled, current tab titles and website domains are shared with the connected parent or authorized school portal. Authorized teachers can also close shared tabs. Website blocking works without this optional permission. Requires a ClearGuard family or school connection. Windows app blocking requires the separate ClearGuard Windows application.
