Overlayer turns any website into your own workspace: pin a sheet of quick notes to every site, and highlight text right on the page — all fully offline. Everything you create stays in your browser, on your device. No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. QUICK NOTES ON EVERY SITE • Open a notes sheet on any website and add rich text, sticky notes, link buttons, and images. • Drag images straight from your computer or from another page. • Give each site several note pages, each with its own title. TEXT HIGHLIGHTER • Select text on a page and highlight it in the color you want. • Change the style, attach a note, and jump back to it later. • Highlights survive page reloads and come back on dynamic sites. On long feeds, Overlayer keeps scrolling and loading older content until it finds the text you saved. SAVED NOTES MANAGER • Browse everything you've saved across all your sites. • Search by site or by highlighted text. • Export all your notes and settings to a JSON file and import them on another device. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Fully offline — no servers, no accounts, no telemetry. • Your notes never leave your device. • Free and open source (GPL-3.0). No paid tiers, no ads. Available in 8 languages: English, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. The interface follows your browser language by default.
