The OvalEdge v7.2.4 plugin allows our users to gain instant access to their metadata and data.
The OvalEdge Chrome Browser Extension allows users to access their metadata instantly from any web application. It brings the OvalEdge application directly to where users work, enabling them to search glossary terms and data objects, view saved bookmarks, report data quality issues, and check report certification statuses—all without leaving their current tab. Users can also enable an Auto-Search feature, which automatically searches for glossary terms or data objects when they highlight any text on a webpage—making it easier to discover relevant metadata without manual effort. Note: While the browser may display a permission message stating the extension can “Read and change all your data on all websites,” OvalEdge does not collect or modify any website data. This access is strictly used to enable features like text selection, contextual search, and certification overlays.
