OutputReady – Hidden Character Cleaner

Clean zero-width spaces and hidden Unicode from text locally. Meaningful language, emoji, and bidirectional text stay protected.

Paste text, click once, and copy a version with hidden artifacts removed — without anything leaving your machine. OutputReady cleans invisible and unusual Unicode that sneaks into copied text: • Zero-width spaces and word joiners (U+200B, U+2060) • Soft hyphens, BOM, invisible math operators • Exotic spaces that break search, code, and CSVs • Stray tag characters and private-use code points Built-in protections keep meaning intact: • Emoji ZWJ sequences and variation selectors stay whole • Persian/Arabic/Indic joiners inside words are preserved • Valid bidirectional marks, isolates, and embeddings survive • Flag-tag sequences render untouched • Markdown, URLs, code, and normal punctuation are never flagged Everything happens locally in your browser. There is no upload, no account, no analytics, and no network access — the extension cannot phone home because its manifest forbids connections outright. Two ways to use it: 1. Click the toolbar icon, paste, press “Clean & copy”. 2. Select text on any page, right-click, choose “Clean selected text with OutputReady”, then copy the cleaned result from the summary window. “Review changes” shows an exact Original | Cleaned | Changes diff so you always see precisely which characters were removed or normalized — counts included, guesswork excluded. Note on AI text: people often meet these artifacts after copying from AI chat tools, PDFs, websites, and rich editors. OutputReady is honest character-level hygiene: it removes hidden Unicode and says exactly what it changed. It does not detect authorship, does not alter or assess any model watermark, and makes no claims about AI detectors.
